YOUR COUNTERTOP INSTALLATION

GETTING READY FOR US:
Make sure all items on the counter top are removed to avoid damage. Also be aware that all items in cabinets will be exposed to heavy dust, you may want to remove these items and be prepared to dust cabinets before replacing items.

PLUMBING:
We are not licensed to do plumbing and can not remove or reconnect any kind of plumbing. This includes sinks, stools, ice makers and washers.

APPLIANCE MOVING:
If noted in your proposal, we can remove and reinstall appliances that do not require electrical, gas or plumbing disconnection. Be sure that built in gas or electric appliances are disconnected before we arrive.

EXISTING TOPS:
Guy's will remove and dispose of your existing counter top if listed on your proposal. As a rule, Guy's does not laminate or set tile over existing laminate and can not guarantee this type of installation.

TOUCH UPS:
Guy's has a reputation for taking extreme care of the surrounding walls, wall coverings, and trim. However, damage is sometimes unavoidable. Please be prepared to touch up paint, wall coverings or trim after your tile installation.

SWITCH PLATES:
Please discuss the height of your backsplash with your estimator. It should be above or below your switch plate. If your tile backsplash is installed behind the cover plates, you may need longer screws to reattach the plates.
